Beta-gamma directional correlation measurements in the decay of gallium-72

چکیده

The beta-gamma directional correlation involving the first forbidden,2.52 Mev, <#-group in coincidence with the 1.465 Mev 72 S' transition, in the 14-hours decay of Ga, has been measured as a function of energy of the beta-particles . The correlation coefficient A^ was determined at five (Z energies ranging from 1.839 to 2.248 Mev as given below :
